Good bit of info that Mozilla Thumbs Up I'm sure the list of faults will get longer the more people read this either that or put potential buyers off the sport altogether Laughing Its no worse then any other marque. A couple of common faults i can add...
Front door locks pre 2009 break (failing to lock) about £165 per side to fix
Parking Sensors also common fault, repair cost not known Crying or Very sad
If we could put a cost per fix at the side of each fault then this will also give others some idea of repair costs, Thumbs Up Once we have made a decent list of all common faults then perhaps Martin could make it a sticky for potential buyers.
Rear top tailgate is another ive just thought of, latch breaking Mr. Green I'm sure there will be a few more added soon.

Orange warning light is seek assistance asap fault. Red warning light is stop the vehicle immediately and call L/R assistance, thats if the vehicle hasn't already stopped on its own Big Cry

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Bonatti Grey

I wouldn't be put off (I wasn't) as long as you do your homework, give any potential purchase a thorough checking over, and buy with your head rather than your heart, then chances are you'll get a good example. Current: 06 RR Sport HSE TDV6, Bonatti grey, black leather. Defender 90 pick up. Vito 110cdi

Previous: Mercedes CLS, BMW 330cd M sport, Nissan 200sx, Impreza STi, EP3 Civic Type R

Add the oil pump drive failure, timing belt tensioner/casing failure to the list. Doesn't make good reading does it? Big Cry 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱
Lots of other toys in the cupboard...😜
