Belgium 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black
Replica Stormers and Tyre Size

I'm confused...I'm trying to find Stormer wheels and tyres for the new RRS -I've see a number of replica options on ebay and vendor websites and can pretty much sort that out. I have two questions I would appreciate some feedback on.

1) Does anyone know who actually supplies LR the OE Stormer wheel?

2) I've seen packages with 275/40/20 tyres and others with 295/40/20 - the latter is larger than factory spec. Has anyone got this size mounted on either Stormers or some other wheel and have you encountered any problems with the larger tyre?

Of course...any other input is more than welcome! Bow down 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE, Java/Ebony/Cherry, Privacy, Sunroof, PTI, Premium Sound, SatNav, Cold Climate, Tow kit, CarStyle coded grill and vents, Tasmods, Stormers, JE Exhaust, Autobiography badge

Not sure who makes OE Stormers but someone will know!

I would avoid 295/40's as they are not the recommended size. a 40 profile of a 295 section tyre will be a higher sidewall than a 275/40.

With a 275/40, the overall size of wheel/tyre combo is the same as the 19" with a 255/45 (I think it is), therefore what you gain in wheel you reduce in sidewall. The rolling radius should still be the same. You will just get a firmer ride due to less pneumatic damping from a lower profile tyre.
