The orange indicator lamp on the parking sensor button of my my12 RRS is always on but dim when the ignition is on. The sensors all work ok and the indicator is bright when they are in use either when automatically switched on by selecting reverse or manually switched by pressing the button. Is this normal or should the lamp be completely off when the system is not in use? -----------------------------------------------

On mine (and my previous one) the light illuminates when the button's pushed to manually operate the sensors and goes out when they're off. No dim light, just on and off.

Thanks for the confirmation Brian. I fear a faulty component in the sensor control unit. Not a big problem for now but I guess it's likely to develop in the future....... -----------------------------------------------

So after two days behaving as above. The fault seems to have cleared itself and now operating as expected. -----------------------------------------------
