Tow electrics to fit - different to when I last did it on a 58 - bumper didn't need to come off then

Not according to instructions - I think it is to access cable mounts and connector block I didn't have to on the 2005 & 2008 vehicles

I've got a pdf somewhere , ill try and hunt it out

just screws along the bottom, screws in the rear wheel wells and behind the lights if i remember correctly, then the popper connections along the rear quarter as is common on most modern cars

I had this when i fitted my tow electrics.

You cant do it without the bumper off.

Remove the lights (using something to protect the bumper)

You need to pop up the rear tread plate - remove the clips underneath.

Undo the screws in each rear arch, and underneath the bumper

pop out the sides of the bumper and remove rearwards taking care with the reversing sensor lead.

Many thanks - just what I needed

Just take out the nearside rear lamp to get to the leads from inside the car. Thread and clip the plug leads along the rear of the bumper and plug in behind the light. Simple job 1Hr 2012 HSE SDV6 FUJI WHITE

Did that on the last 2 RRS pre 2012 - it seems the loom is now fixed and connector behind bumper.

Exactly the same on mine 2012 HSE SDV6 FUJI WHITE
