Hi,

I have a MY12 RRS and noticed a few issues and was wondering if these are normal

1. when the weather is cool and for approx 5 minutes after starting the engine I appear to have a droning noise (maybe a blower). I thought it could be the heating/ac system but when I switch it off the noise is still there. The noise can be heard inside and out.

2. The touch screen seems really slow, sometimes the audio/video section can be greyed out for a minute or 2 after starting the engine and on occasions I have reveresed of the drive and started going forwards before the rear camera comes on.

3. Drivers seat get confused when exiting the car and pins me up against the steering wheel, then when I enter the car again I have to use the memory function to return the seat to normal position.

Number 3 definitely isn't normal.

I agree with Nik, no 3 not normal in fact it the seat should do the opposite and lower and the steering wheel should raise when the drivers door is opened.
I think you will find that the noise you hear on start up from cold is the fuel burning heater which carries on running for a while after you switch the engine off.
I have to agree that the touch screen is really slow and when reversing after starting the car the camera is just about useless unless you are prepared to wait for the system to boot up.

1. As EF says, probably the Fuel Burning Heater.
2. Shouldn't be that long delay to be honest, but I've had similar every no and then.
3. Not normal. sounds like its got its nickers in a twist.
