ECU Remap to lower vehcile (not links)

Curious around doing this as stumbled across an ebay ad... wouild be tempted if someone does this locally (Scotland) in the event I wanted to remove the additional lowering capabiliyu - with 22's I do think it sits too high (brutal ride too and even worse once lowered too I imagine )

Link from the bay - anyone in Scotland offer a similar service

Buy one of these:
http://www.gap-diagnostic.com/products/eascontrol.html
and then you can do it yourself to whatever height you want. And you can undo the changes when you wish.

I'm willing to bet that the guy offering this service at £140 a go is just using one of these types of module. And you'd need to go back to him to get it altered again if required.

If you buy one of these:
http://www.gap-diagnostic.com/products/iidtool.html
then you can do the suspension and general fault stuff too. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

We can calibrate the suspension to give a lower ride height with our diagnostic machine Thumbs Up

Which part of Scotland are you in? We may be local to you

We are also an authorised Britpart dealer, if you would like to order one of the modules

FYI

-23mm is is maximum if you wish to retain access mode (it will auto select extended mode if any lower than this)

I am on -25mm and have accepted this because it's more of the "look" I wanted and I do not "need" access mode (all my local car parks are 2m height restriction)

Going lower does look better still, but the ride quality dives once past 25mm Mr. Green RRS gone

Thanks, sorry can you elabroate (I'm slow!) This ECU modification - any lower than 23mm (assume this is gauged on the screen so I can lower MM by MM ?

Thanks again - agree the 22's with a lower ride height looks really good (appreciate ride Q pish tho...)
