Re: High mileage new shape sport

The only thing that would put me off is within a year or two the car will have over 100k on it which will put alot of people off when you come to sell it / trade it in (trade in value will be harsh).

Would any of you consider a high milage new shape sport? Ive seen a 2010 hse with 85k on the clock. after looking around the pre facelift is starting to look dated but would you consider buying one with such mileage?

Your opinions are most defiantly welcome!!

Presumably the asking price is nicely reduced by the mileage so the fact that it's higher mileage shoulodn't matter in the resale issue. Assuming you even plan to sell it soon anyway. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

See loads on auto trader for them, seems a great spec. 42k miles a year maybe ok if it's motorway isn't that what they say that motorway miles are better than stop start journeys?

cap clean is 16,350
retail is 18, 585

new engine will maybe add a few quid mate but ur gonna struggle with over 100k miles on the car.

Cheaper it is the better the chance of it selling, My advise would be 16.5 17k

Thanks for the quick response, pretty much what I thought, where's the best to advertise these days pistonheads or autotrader, both? Cheers

Hi Ady
Not to sure, I am travelling to Nottingham every day now
so just to the office round trip from Sheffield is 110 miles
each day more the reason stopped using the RRS.
It's a expensive toy now just for the weekend and have a
brand new Mondeo for the commuting so am unsure what to do. Big Cry
Will definately miss my RRS
