Hi Steveee I am also in the south and have spoken to Pete at Bell Autos and although he is based in York he can remap your car via downloads on your computer. Basically you receive a unit that reads your engine details, you email them to BAS who then update the settings and e mail them back. You then download them back onto the unit and plug it back into the car and job done. Please check this out as I haven't got a clue what I'm talking about but relaying the conversation I had with Pete !!! Sounds good to me though. He is a site sponsor and his website is advertised on the forum home page. Hope I have got the basics of it correct regards Rigsby |

Hi rigsby. I sent BAS a couple of emails, but got no reply ? So assumed they was not interested. it all sounds good if you know what your doing with computers and cars. However this is not my strong point in either case. but would be interested to here how you get on, when you planning to attempt this mission ? |

very simple to do plug into car read ECU, send file to pete via email, he send tuned file back via email, upload to BAS unit, plug unit onto cor and write new file to ecu job done, i done it to my old 2.7 tdv6 (BAS unit), it was much better for it.

Hi Steve, I am sure Pete will reply to you via this forum as he did with me. I hopefully will be picking my car up either wednesday or Thursday and I will be contacting Pete by this time next week so should be up and running in about 7 days. Everyone seems to speak highly of BAS on here and for me that goes a long way.Rigsby |

Not taking anything away from Pete at BAS, but there is also site sponsor AMD in Thurrock (just over the QQII bridge) who will do a bespoke remap in situ on the rolling road.

Hi steveee, im really sorry you havnt had a reply from me which is a little odd on my part as I answer all emails generally, I can only assume your email has been caught up in with some junk mails and have been deleted. Very sorry if this is the case.
