Just wanted to say openly a massive thanks to James at LPR as he had a spare ticket and has offered it to me FOC as I was so rudely snubbed earlier (only joking mate), so off to a great day out to see what these beasts can do off road.

THE place to go is
Eastnor Castle, Ledbury,
Land Rover use Eastnor as a testing ground themselves.

Not sure if you can still do the Solihull Experiance and Facrtory tour, may be worth asking,

I've been to Coniston Cold, Peckforton, and Ledbury. Eastnor Castle is superb..try to go there on a filthy day when there's been plenty of rain beforehand. The tracks are extensive and can be submerged in mud. The Feathers Hotel in Ledbury is great..think creaking floorboards and sloping corridors! However, obtaining a weekend booking for a LRE course is not easy..they go as soon as they are available! Peckforton is pleasant and if you go there , stay at the Pheasant Inn at Burwardsley nearby, great views over the Cheshire Plain, takes dogs, splendid barn rooms , super food etc. And a good brekkie!

Coniston Cold eh?? Did you see the rear steering 110 defender there?!
Nice hotel on site...good for the summer as you can go on the LRE course during the day, and then sit outside on the terrace of the hotel with a splendid view over the lake during the evening! Dog friendly also. By midnight I had no clear idea of the location of my room
