it does take a bit of time, the wheel will slowly but surely be lowered to the ground

I'll give it another go then......was winding for 5mins with no sign of movement, cheers m8 If it doesnt scare you it isnt heavy enough |

Give the spare a kick or a pull to make sure it isn't wedged or 'stuck' up - to make sure load is on the winch otherwise you could have a problem with the cable tangling... |

Took it to the dealer and they said the winch was and will fit a new one next week, along with the petrol cap catch.....once the wheel protector on i'll be a happy bunny. If it doesnt scare you it isnt heavy enough |

Had exactly the same problem on my first RRS - winch replaced under warranty, not uncommon apparenty. FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy
