Sorry ti hijack this thread but as you are all pretty local I thought you would be a good group to ask? Are there any nw / Lancashire meets that I could join in on? I am looking to make a few local contacts now I am in the scary but exciting world of RRs ownership. I am looking to do a few upgrades to my RRS and I am pretty crap with doing anything like that but would like to learn and get better under the tutorship of someone local that knows what they are doing. Any suggestions/ideas?

Not been here for a while, but as the post is open, thought I would update.

Ended up at a1 landrover, Andy is a great bloke, not the cheapest, but a clean reliable garage.

He breaks everything down to man hrs and parts and his estimates are solid. If you took some fog and put it in a jar, would it be missed.

A1 Land Rover in Bury seem pretty good, only used them once for a new alternator about 6 weeks ago
and they were very efficient.
