Changing clock set head unit?

As other post previously, I have imported an 06 2.7d hse RRS from Dublin and she has Km clocks, as far as I can tell the simplest way to do this is to change the clock set completely.

I found a c lock set on e bay off a supercharged one cheap and am thinking of buying it, 3 questions though...

1. My car has 85,000 miles on it and dont know what miles is on this clock set, how do I deal with this legally to avoid any issues when I come to sell it? Dont want anyone to think shes clocked!

2. My car is a 2.7d the clocks are for a supercharged, will they fit each other, are they the same?

3. How hard is it to change, will it do any damage to the dash doing it and does it need a reflash once completed at the dealers?

Thanks all!

In a word Mr. Green

I'm not sure how much security there is built in regarding swapping clock clusters and the ecu...which is why I've not commented... I was assuming someone else more technical would have by now, but it's not a common thing to do.

Personally I cannot see it being as simple as a straight swap... but I may be wrong RRS gone
