what does this setting actually do any one??

I think it has something to do with locking the doors you can press it once to open all the doors or have it set where you press once for the drivers door only or twice for all the doors or just set it for opening all the doors with one press or the remote. Thumbs Up

Could you be referring to Lazy Entry?

Lazy entry

This feature enables the vehicle to store the
seating and mirror positions for each remote
control.
When the vehicle is unlocked using a remote
control, the position of the seat and mirrors will
adjust to the last used position. This feature
can be disabled or enabled in the Settings
option accessed via the trip computer.

It was set up on my old D3's spare fob...trouble was it was for a 4' midget! So if I grabbed the wrong set of keys... it was like getting into a formula Ford Laughing RRS gone
