Can i fit pirelli 265/45/20 on 2008 RRS?

I have been told that i can fit 265/45/20 on the front and leave 275/40/20 on the back? Can anyone tell me if this is true?

People run the 275/45 R 20 Cooper Zeon LTZ here with no issue both front and rear. Why would you run different size tyre front to rear? Will look odd at very least. SWMBO owns this car I get to drive occasionally Smile
