Help! New owner with big problems!

Hi all! Have now had my RRS s/c for 8 weeks, and I am having a few issues! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to forum members and other posts I have managed to sort my ACC problem, but these, especially the last one are big worries!
Starting to think I made a big mistake, but when it's good I love the car!

1. Cold starting sometimes a struggle! Particularly on cold mornings. Been ok since overnight charge, but time will tell. Battery knackered?
2. Suspension Rumble on slightly bumpy roads (not a 'knock') when cold? Very annoying! Seems to lessen when it has been driven a while?
3.heater temperature is variable to say the least!
4.gearbox sticking - doesn't always shift when in full auto mode from 4th and up? Will change up when switched to sport/manual mode?
5. Occasional yellow engine light comes on, and resets clear on restart? OBD scan says lean bank 1? Very intermittent problem!
6. Reversed into a post as reversing sensor didn't work! Seems to work most other times though!
7. Today whilst on the M25, had suspension failure. Red light and very bouncy! Warning text says do not drive over 30mph etc. will reset on restart but will go off again anywhere between 2 and 20 miles down the road. No fault codes?

Is it possible this is ALL battery/alternator related?

Any advice would be very welcome indeed!

Great forum, thanks in advance for any help offered!

Sounds like a rough deal mate. I bought mine pre Christmas and have a rapid tapping, knocking, ticking noise from underneath rear nearside on start up that goes after a mInute or two. Going to non LR specialist as not impressed with LR dealers myself. Sorry cant help but just wanted to show some solidarity. TDV8 HSE, Remap (+45 BHP + 100 Nm), Taylored sport exhaust system by Pipe Werx

For the first one I would say the battery is knackered, the cold weather tends to kill batteries. The other problems could stem from this so I would make it my first port of call.

Found this on the OBD website

Technical Description

System Too Lean (Bank 1)
What does that mean?

Basically this means that an oxygen sensor in bank 1 detected a lean condition (too much oxygen in the exhaust). On V6/V8/V10 engines, Bank 1 is the side of the engine that has cylinder #1.

Note: This DTC is very similar to P0174, and in fact your vehicle may show both codes at the same time.
Symptoms

You will more than likely not notice any drivability problems, although there may be symptoms such as a lack of power, detonation (spark knock), and/or a hesitation/surge on acceleration.
Causes

A code P0171 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:

The MAF (Mass Air Flow) Sensor is dirty or faulty. Note: The use of "oiled" air filters may cause the MAF to become dirty if the filter is over-oiled. There is also an issue with some vehicles where the MAF sensors leak the silicone potting material used to protect the circuitry.
There could be a vacuum leak downstream of the MAF sensor.

Possible Solutions

Possible solutions include:

In the vast majority of cases, simply cleaning the MAF sensor does the trick. Consult your service manual for it's location if you need help. I find it's best to take it off and spray it with electronics cleaner or brake cleaner. Make sure you are careful not to damage the MAF sensor, and make sure it's dry before reinstalling
Inspect all vacuum and PCV hoses, replace if necessary
Check for a dirty fuel filter and proper fuel pressure

Thanks all for your input.
after reading posts on here for about 3 hours last night, I was convinced it was all a battery issue, but having had it checked at land rover AND an independent this morning, sadly the battery is fine!

The air suspension failure has returned again this morning. Sometimes it seems to reboot itself, but others not. It can last 5 miles or 20!

Really puzzled now...

If it was the suspension air bags leaking then I would have thought it would have taken a consistent time to fail? I.e. a couple of miles?

Any advice gratefully received!

Having had a rant at my dealer today, was about to get it recovered to their garage, when the sales guy says to me 'have you checked the wheels and tyres? We spent £4k on one of these once trying to sort this problem, and it turned out to be a dodgy wheel...'

So, I went out to look at the cars and found the left rear to be down to about 20psi. I went to pump it up, and the bloody valve crumbled with corrosion!.

So, changed the wheel for the spare, and lo and behold, after covering 40 miles the problem has disappeared!

Very happy, for the moment as the beast is back!

Still got rumble suspension, but that's just annoying!

yep concur on wheels being a potential problem

I had a flat tyre on mine where it ran flat over 100-150yds
by the time I'd stopped and turned to return the 1/4 mile to home ...all the warning lights were on
headlights, suspension, brakes pas etc
basically it'd worked out one wheel was the wrong rolling radius and gone on strike

On the parking sensor issue I've noticed that if you are a little too quick in selecting reverse and proceeding to park sometimes the sensors don't come on.

This is also even more prevalent if driving into a space and the rrs doesn't realise you're parking Shocked Have i got the busted controller?!?!!?

Don't worry about the parkIng sensor issue as mine does the same as do other car sensor systems. It happens when the object near by. From time to time I just press the parking sensor button and it kicks the system on. TDV8 HSE, Remap (+45 BHP + 100 Nm), Taylored sport exhaust system by Pipe Werx

Got the same prob with my parkingsensor. Last night no prob but today the beep was constant when put in R. Is it the sensor or a bad wire?
