radio not working but cd is..?

went work this morning all ok with car.! gets in it to come home and the radio is on but no sound coming out.! swithched off and on and still same.! hit mode and went to a cd and all works fine.! is there a silly problem here.? also wondered is the transmitter down in my area.? any ideas please Bow down Bow down

today radio if fine so must of been a transmitter fault in my area i guess Whistle Whistle
