SatNav disc question

I'm new here so it's probably a silly question - but would a 2011 RRS SatNav disc work in my 2005 RRS?

I need to update my SatNav and my business partner has a 2011 RRS - obviously with the new dash/SatNav system - but wondered if his disc would work in my RRS?

And is it just a DVD? as in a normal data DVD? Whistle RRS HSE TDV6 Autobiography

The 2011 sport doesn't have a satnav disc, its now hard drive, you might be able to get a new disc with the 2011 updates on it though Thumbs Up

ah OK. I'm guessing it would be the same on a Disco 4 too?

So where would be the best place to get an updated disc if you don't mind me asking? RRS HSE TDV6 Autobiography
