If you fit one don't even think about going deep wading with it fitted.................... it isn't waterproof and is carefully described as a "raised air intake" in the brochures! Basically it's a fancy dust trap! The D3 raised intake is the same, not waterproofed! The problem is the through panel bit I believe, it has no seals! Also having seen the D3 one, the quality is pretty cr*p and flimsy. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

It was about AU$750 fitted, I asked about the rack and the protection plates, they were AU$1650 each (a bit much i thought) the rack does look good though! Ben |

These are some choices we have in North America for 18" All Terrain tyres. Nitto Terra Grapplers, 285/60R18. Sounds wide, but it fits the RRS wheel well no problem. A couple of rangerovers.net forum members have them and have been very happy with their on-road and off-road performance. The Terra Grappler is available in a 255/55R18 as well (which is the stock size for 18" wheels on the Sport, I believe) not as much sidewall but better than nothing. Nitto also makes the Dune Grappler in a 285/60R18 size, if your offroading is more hardcore and you care less about onroad performance. Also, look for General Tire Grabber AT2 255/60R18 (these should be available any day now in the US, don't know about Australia) or 255/55R18, available now. Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor, "coming soon" in a 265/60R18 size would be great - if Goodyear ever produces them as they have been promising for months.
