Hi everyone

I ordered my MY12 RRS in mid-Feb and was told by the dealer that they would be able to give me a slot for a car that was scheduled to go into build. The provisional delivery date on my order was end of March.

I was subsequently told that my order was locked (i.e. no more changes allowed) on 20-Feb.

I have chased my dealer a couple of times but am yet to be provided with a build date or firm delivery date.

The questions I have are:

1. How long is the usual wait between having an order locked for changes and being given a build date?
2. How long before delivery did everyone get given their build/delivery date?
3. What is the expected time between build and delivery?

Given we are nearly in mid-March, I am assuming if the car has not gone into build yet that it will be pushing it to get it for end of March?

Any feedback much appreciated.

If i was you i would stick to the delivery date originally given, as do most dealers, so not to dissapoint you if your car is delayed for whatever reason, then if it comes early like mine did its a nice surprise i was told that mine was going to be built on the 29th of feb and to expect delivery to me on or around the 15 of march, it was built on the 21st of feb and it was delivered to my dealer on the 28th of feb, i took delivery on the 3rd of march If you arn't getting good customer service of your direct contact ask to speak to the dealer principle or another salesman

I was given a build date of 10th-14th February and a dealer delivery date of 21st Feb. Went to dealer on 17th February to discuss payment and the car had just come off the transporter. So at present it looks like the factory are on top of things.
