Replica alloys and they're average lifespan

Hi, was just wondering who out they're has or has had replica wheels on they're RRS and if there is an average lifespan of these wheels compared to originals? Or any probs or issues with them? 22" preferably. Am not after a bitchfest against replicas from people who haven't really experienced them so just first hand genuine thoughts pls lads n lasses. Thumbs Up R they really any different to wheels 2/3/4 times they're price? Seems like even the top price wheels crack etc. Java black 2006

I had some slightly under-weight rated Super 7's on mine when I bought it and that coupled with rubbish cheap rubber and slightly too low pressures resulted in 3 written off alloys in 8 months

Now running replica's that are weight rated at 1 tonne, with Proxie ST's and 39 psi and even with the odd Censored moment when hitting a pothole they've been 100% Thumbs Up RRS gone

Total failure Kensta

Dent on the rim, then a stress crack across the alloy to the centerline of the track... then the whole alloy split in 2... happened all 3 times..

Yes it was getting stupid..

Trouble was, I didn't know I wasn;t running enough pressure in the tyres... so the "already weak" tyre walls had no resistance to impacts....

Tell you one thing... I certainly noticed the blow out! RRS gone

I bet you did!
My local garage recommended 38 all round on the RRS (which differs to the LR guide) sound reasonable ? ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Pah, call that a pothole, we just call that a road around here Rolling Eyes
Council have been so bad repairing things. They have just opened a portal on their website allowing online reporting of potholes, they have had a 'few' notifications from me
