Hi guys. Need some advice. been looking at an 05 plate 2.7 sport HSE.
Appreciate any comments what to look out for When viewing. Mileage is 69,000

Lots of things to look out for:

HDC faults on dash when selecting different modes on the terrain knob (and also the suspension height button)

Ask if it's had it's EGR's blanked off

Take it for a spin... if it goes well then it's a TDV8 or it's been re-mapped (sorry could not resist) check the autobox is smooth and not lumpy on change up/down

Look for tyre wear/chewing.. these cost a small fortune to have 4 wheel alligned (£200 at main dealer)

Check the oil level... some people do not even check the dipstick between services so just asking to check the oil sometimes gets a reaction!

FINALLY

ALWAYS see more than one.... you need to compare like with like...otherwise you could be buying a dog and not know it till it's too late
