very quick thoughts on this?! ebay... cat d ?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Range-Rover-Spor...914wt_1139

hpi says cat d recovered damaged @ 180 miles new so i'm told.

everything else clear.

It is an HSE with AB kit which i've been told was factory done?

current owner has only had it 2 months, which is always a bit of a concern but says needs to move quick on a house? he put his own private plate on it start of feb so i'm guessing was planning to keep it.

MY10 - sept 59 reg
reverse cam
overfinch 22s
colour coded
side steps
AB bits

can't see much else that is an option...

Anything look out of place?

Would you take a punt or run a mile?

i'm seriously torn... if it was not cat d what would it be worth? Low-mid 40s? Is 5-8k for the cat d worth it?

it is on the docs as cat d-recovered rather than stolen recovered which makes me think there might have been a little more damage than the guy is making out. MY10 Autobiograhy

2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

What I don't like is he has not mention who repaired it and the standard etc... normally a cat D would be worth 20% less or so than current market values.... tbh to spend 30k plus I would want to see all the documents on the vehicle first...

sorry here is the full link for anyone else thinking of it...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/120839657839?red...090wt_1396

extract...

"As i have a vast knowladge of working on the new range rovers

i have purchased this car from a business as a Light damge CAT-D

The car had damage to the offside which had craked the ends of both front and rear bumpers...

hence i have taken the opertunity to upgrade the car to the auotbiography kit.

In short it looked like the offside had scraped down the side of a motorway divide...

so the offside has been painted by landrover approved bodyshop." MY10 Autobiograhy

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Sumatra Black

Just to add, the 'Overfinch 22s' do not appear to be a genuine set of 22" Tiger wheels from what I can see from the photos.
