Tailpipes for 2.7 tdv6

Hi! Just bought a new 2.7 tdv6 2006 Smile I'm looking for some straight tailpipes to clip on. i'v seen some from powerful but they make the smoke still going down. Looks wierd with smoke not coming out of the pipes.

Any other pipes on the market??

Pretty sure they point down for a reason, if the pipes were pointing straight out the back of your car will get covered in black sooty diesel marks.

Wink so I got two choices:

1. Buy the clip on pipes where the smoke goes down and not through the pipes.
2. Get a new exhaust with straight pipes installed.

Anyone got the clip on pipes?? Does it look strange when the smoke comes under the pipes?? Must look sooo fake:)

I've got the down pointing pipes Smile

To be honest it does look strange when you see the smoke not coming out of the pipe end, but then I dont often see the car with the engine running as I am inside. Laughing Also I think it is only noticeable when you are at a standstill. I still think they look really good every time I walk up to it and I've had them on for over a year Cool It just seems to finish the car off IMHO.

Pics in my gallery Thumbs Up

I guess it depends on what you're after as the end pipes are a purely cosmetic thing so if you want something more than I guess you are looking at changing the exhaust properly....... 2011 Autobiography Santorini Black
