Bluetooth conection

Hi, does anyone else have trouble with Bluetooth? I have a 2006 RRS HSE but my I phone 4s won't pick up the Bluetooth. Is there any fix for this?

it has been known to have some issues. A 57 plate I had refused to pair with a blackberry until I had changed the actual software on the phone. Search my posts and good luck Thumbs Up ============

My bluetooth connects fine, but the contacts are not recognised and displayed as numbers, not names... Vadim A.

This'll work for most people (D3/RRS/FFRR) and has the added benefit of giving you Contacts list to scroll though.

Im just about to upgrade my bluetooth unit. I know where it is ie OSR in the boot. I can see it by opening the little hatch. How do I get at it without damaging the boot lining? If I just give it a good pull will it come away with the fittings intact so I can push it home again? 2007 TDV8 HSE, Stornoway, 20" HST alloys + GG ATs, HST body kit and Remap (+45 BHP + 100 Nm)

To answer my own question - got a big screwdriver behind the lining all came away (and went back) a treat. BT upgarde all worked - my RRS is now usable for business. 2007 TDV8 HSE, Stornoway, 20" HST alloys + GG ATs, HST body kit and Remap (+45 BHP + 100 Nm)

While its clear in my mind (did it yesterday), if you can get to the BT unit:

1. Undo the torx screw

2. Note which way round the two plugs go into the base.

3. Remove the small plug in BT unit base (easy to emove- gives more space to work)

4. Remove the big plug in unit base (held by white plastic clip, rotate through 90 degrees, from what I can see this only goes in one way, worth having a good look before disassembly - in the end this was all I had to worry about)

4. Reverse the process for assembly.

I do lots of engineering jobs, the problem for me with this was I was only going to do it once, on my own car. So I was learning trivial things that if I had to do them again would be straight forward. 2007 TDV8 HSE, Stornoway, 20" HST alloys + GG ATs, HST body kit and Remap (+45 BHP + 100 Nm)
