What a friendly bunch of guys,

I recently puchased off ebay a set of colour coded side vents but after a few days i decided i didnt like the look with the grey handles so i swopped back to SC vents, as it was 5p listing day on tues i went mad and listed loads of stuff on ebay including my digital camera which i packed away so to do the listing for the vents i used some of the info from the auction i purchased them from including the picture. and look at what arrived in my inbox tonght.

I notice that you a re offering a black / silver side vent for sale. The image on your auction is mine and you d onot have my permission to use it. In fact you also run the risk of misrepesenting the item for sale.Unless you remove the image from the sale immediately I will report this serious matter to e bay for them to action.

Friendly hey. i do believe they would need to state the pictures are copyrighted or even watermark them, even so the mail was a bit firm

Geez. Unless he has some sort of copyright violation statement on his own listings, or his pictures were watermarked like you said, I think he would have a tough time convincing eBay to act based on his claim that's "his" picture and not just "a" picture. I wonder if Carstyling has received written authorization from Land Rover to modify (paint), photograph and commercialize their OEM parts on eBay?  

When i was chatting to him over email he sounded like a nice guy what's up with him now me maybe having a bad day  RRS TDV6 Gone but still around

Umbertob - I saw those on ebay the other day - WOW - sold for a mighty $1.86 .............. just goes to show that chawton white hasn't taken off in the UK yet. Personally I think its great - my next colour maybe
