Well looks like I am finally going to undertake a little colour coding, I have ordered a spare set of lower door cladding, as I am being informed that it is an off the car job, http://tinyurl.com/788zd3j also if I don’t like it, I will still have the original black plastic to go back on.
The paint shop I approached said they would be quite happy / prefer to paint the lower bumper skirts whilst still on the car, also asked, did I want to paint the parking sensors as well.
I am not sure about painting the sensors, yes the would look nice colour coded, however as the car is Tonga Green, a dark colour, then maybe the sensors would not look too bad if left black, can I ask, has anyone had issues with painting the parking sensors?

Can't comment on RRS parking sensors, but on Mrs Bean's Fiat 500, they were painted aftermarket and work perfectly.  ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Mine are painted by Landrover approved bodyshop and work fine 2011 MY- RRS HSE - Zermatt -Ebony-Piano .... its a monochrome world
