Took mine out yesterday, 20" Conti sports, snow mode selected, no drama at all  ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

We had about 4" of snow and a new 2012 demo for the day what a day couldn't of timed it better you really need a serious amount of snow or sheet ice to get into difficulty with these motors.

They did say if the weather gets bad then return early but that part of the conversation fell on deaf ears so i headed for the dales Yes i liked it a lot, i did find it at times searching for the right gear but that might of been down to my driving style at the time (steady) its got plenty of grunt i averaged 26.4 mpg over 110 miles i must admit at one point it was down to 21.5 mpg and another time it was up at 30.2 mpg so it was a mix of all types of road which i think isn't too bad overall.

Glad it was a good one, 110 miles certainly is a good stretch of the legs. 'Bye bye dealer, I'm off to the dales' made me

The mpg you got is a fair representation, apply a heavy right foot and it soon drops down, but allow it to get into 6th, 7th and even 8th and you notice it increase quite considerably. I've not been disappointed with the power yet and for such a big/heavy car its got plenty of poke to get past slower cars on the back lanes  ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Hi Ady, nearly a year to the day but mine took one look at the snow and bust, AA recovered to R MOORE
and the diff has gone this time, considerable cost, ouch, just another manic monday,
running out of patience with thr RRS now.

Hi tim, sorry to here you are having some more bad luck with your motor time flies by is it 12 months since your new engine Time for a new one then tim? Did you have any symptons before the diff went bang
