I haven't but a friend has done it with a Bentley GT and a very good result. TDV8 HSE, Remap (+45 BHP + 100 Nm), Taylored sport exhaust system by Pipe Werx

Not sure about spraying them but you should be able to get them wrapped in vinyl any colour you want no bother and pretty cheaply |
