2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Stornoway Grey
Stolen Spare Wheel

Need some help!

I have also fallen victim to a stolen spare wheel. I run a 2007(57) RSS TDV8 with factory 20" wheels. Fortunately I have never needed to use my spare wheel, therefore have no idea what size it was. Could it have been a 19" or would it have been a 20"? Tim from Scotland, this is your old RRS, are you able to help.

I am intending on purchasing an alloy+tyre from a breakers yard, if they have a 20" I know what I need to purchase. However, if they have a 19", what tyre should I ensure it is fitted with in order to match radius of my 20"s with tyres, if and when I need to use it.

Finally, I have read posts in the past discussing locking/deterrent devices, what and where should I look for these.

Thanks

Sach IIRC it was a 19" Black alloy which was the standard issue. I would love to know what these guys do with all the stolen black alloys. If they also cut the wire then you will possibly also need a new hoisting winch. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

I dropped Ray a PM earlier and he replied back asking what size my spare is?

Ok techheads - My car is a MY12 HSE with style 3 20" alloys. What size is the standard spare wheel??

I haven't ordered an alloy as a spare so I assume that it will be a steel??

Answers on a post card please!

Jim

Edit - Thought I would just mention that I haven't picked the car up yet (1st March) so can't physically check the size.
