Ride Quality

Anyone else notice a difference in ride quality when the temp.drops or is it just me/my imagination?

Yes. As the temp drops the pressure in your tyres drops too. 2PSI for each 10degC drop according to the manual. So you could easily be 2-4PSI low depending on conditions now and when you last checked them. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I wonder if the PSI change of the suspension air bags is taken into account too Whistle ============

The system will put air in to the suspension to maintain the correct ride height etc. That's why the thing has a reservoir etc.

So temperature will be accounted for... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

I think the air bag suspension is a plausible reason for a different ride in freezing conditions, but not for pressure reasons but I would imagine they will have some sort of rubber in them that will be harder when its cold. The rubber grommets for electrical back boxes where frozen in the back of my van on Friday Laughing

Went out last night just after the worst/best of the snow stopped and did think the car was riding firmer.

Two other things:

1. Within 50 metres got amber warning message that only standard ride height was available. Not sure why but 10 mins down the road, switched off to refuel and on starting again full functionality was restored.

2. Used snow mode and noticed on full sterring lock I got a mini 4x4 screen showing the position of the front wheels in the message centre that sits between the rev counter and the speedo. Hadn't noticed any reference to that in the Owners manaual.
