2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Santorini Black
Can anyone recommend a great air freshner

Daft question but after picking up my new RRS a few weeks ago I am looking to get a product that gives that lovely new car smell. The thing is I hate car air fresheners and was wondering if there was a cleaner, shampoo, leather cleaner etc that I could use.

I have tried spray fresheners in the past but these wear off in a day or two and don't smell like the dealers seem to be able to achieve when you collect the car.

I use raze glaze leather cleaner and balm, sort of a leather smell to it

I think LTT do a leather scent, I got a sample once and it wasn't too bad a smell, very close to real leather new car smell

That new car smell is usually a concoction of solvents, plastics and also leather. Like you, I'm not a fan of air fresheners.
I've found by keeping the plastics clean (wipe them over with a slightly damp microfiber) and giving the leather a regular clean with something from LTT/Dr leather or Raceglaze as Nick says will get the car smelling nice.

I too also got the 'leather scent' from LTT a while back, but I wasn't that keen to be honest. If I stil have it at home, I'll gladly stick it in the post to you - I'll let you know via PM once I've checked Thumbs Up

Oh and for those who do like air freshners and are longing for that smell to remind you of that 'boys' night out, theres always this from Chemical Guys Rolling with laughter Shocked

I found the LTT leather smell is a "next day" smell. On the first day it smells too much of chemicals but on the second day it smells more of leather. 2016 RRS 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography Dynamic in Montalcino Red and Stealth Kit
