My car ns headlight bulb's gone off, gone to stealer to get replacement they asked for £179.95 after disc. £161.45. Very very surprise, question is: Is it the right price for it (or apprx. )? Is there a replacement we can get somewhere (halford etc.) easily and cheaper?

Yes right price but make sure it's the bulb it might be the whole headlight unit. Not sure about other suppliers. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Have a look at this thread on sister site DISCO3.co.uk. Similar story with an apparently happy ending at something like £30 per bulb for Philips replacements from one of their sponsors.
