I think BAS did a special price around this time last year, it might be worth mailing pete and ask if he's offering a special christmas deal |

What they are offering and what you are getting is nothing like the service or product or technical support or experience that you get with BAS or Alive and when it comes to motors like these i recommend you don"t buy cheap products thats when things can go badly wrong |

Motors like these? let's remember we don't have performance cars... a RRS does not warrant £600 to be tuned... no way! |

This is not just a chip flash it comes with the hardware to put the car back to standard spec at any time and remap when you want too. Also the hardware s also a fault reader so not just a flash and yep as for service this is why it will be eithe alive or bas

Slightly surprised to hear you say this; "tuning" itself means absolutely nothing without understanding exactly what you are getting for your money. It would be good to know who is offering tuning at £300 and then we can compare the offerings in terms of what's done, what the outputs are and what is the perceived value for money (a very individual choice I'm sure). Off to trawl the Bell Autos site again...a link in this thread would be good if anyone knows it! Also, anyone interested in a Group Buy proposition if Bell Autos are interested? Changing maps with the BAS interface is a 2 minute job (for those reading this thread for info) and it's an "engine off" upoad so no, not on the fly.

Also remember that the price for the BAS and Alive packages gives you the ability to change the tune and perform fault code reading yourself.
