RRS TDV V8 - What Should I be Paying ?

What Should I be Paying for a RRS TDV8 (58, 09, 59) with Onyx wheels, nice spec etc? I don't mind getting a miler either.

Don't want a Pan Roof, but Sat Nav, black with black leather is a must.

I haven't looked around yet but intend to search the net over the next week or two.

Any advice on which dealers to look at appreciated Thumbs Up

Farnell in leeds had a few TDV8 in with price ranges about £41-43K

Obviously you'll have to buy the wheels as I don't think many will be out there with Onyx on

Mileage is the biggest factor you need to consider on a car of that age the adjustment for a car 10, 20k over the book milage is quite significant.

Prices have remained pretty stagnant over the last 2 months , have a look in my "Whats your car worth" thread which should give you an idea of sone prices. The best yard stick is Autotrader and LR website filter both sites on engine size and age and you will quite easily find the cheapest on offer in the UK and the most expensive. Take your Onyx wheels out the equation as no dealer would retail a car with them and all TDV8's come well spec'd as it is.

In terms of spec, I think you will find that all HSE spec cars will meet your requirements as leather, Sat Nav, Xenon lights etc etc are all standard.

With regard to price, I would look to pay early 30's for an above average mileage 58 or mid 30's for an average mileage 58 or 09. Main dealers may cost a little more.

At the end of the day, it is pretty much a buyer's market so take your time and negotiate hard.

Also, make sure you factor in the cost (approx. £900) of a good aftermarket warranty when comparing prices, either one you buy yourself (eg Warranty Direct etc) or Land Rover Approved.

Good luck Thumbs Up Proud owner of a 2008 TDV8 HSE.....and an Audi A3 2.0T DSG Cab and a Porsche 911 Turbo (Mercedes W208 320 CLK and Mercedes W124 E220 Estate now gone)
