Happy now year to everyone

Just returned from new year in Milan and have to say I was a bit dissapointed

Have done Rome twice and was blown away

Conclusion - Milan for shopping - Rome for culture and food


Saw a couple of discos - both were police vehicles and one had a winch and knobbly tyres

Must agree once you have seen Milan once.....

Rome on the other is great, been at least once a year for the last ten for either holiday/weekend break/ rugby/work the only place to avoid for food is piazza navona , overpriced and pretty average, although I could live off the ice cream parlours nearby!!!
