wierd thing going on with traction control???

Went out in the rrs last night and noticed when going round right hand bends ( at normal speed ) the traction control would kick in big time. Thinking it could be a puncture i stopped and checked and tyres where fine. I then came in to a round about and made sure i was going extra slow and it kicked in again, its never been that sensetive before Confused .

This morning i moved it off the drive to wash my van and when i moved it back on i pressed the acces hight and the raised suspention message came up on the dash saying reset suspention when clear of obsticle. Everytime i tried to lower the suspention it would just raise back up again, now its sitting on the drive with its arse stuck right in the air but the front seems normal. I'm wondering, although there was no message coming up on the dash, that this may have been the problem last night? Because the arse was up in the air it was effecting the handling???

Sounds like a fault sensor had a similar issue with my FFRR. Have a look at the 4x4 info on the screen it will show all 4 wheels with a green line above each wheels , that's the height sensors. if any of the sensors have an issue They will flash green, I'd bet that one of them will be red.

Ready fix and relatively cheap fr the sensor from dealers

Ok. On the screen it shows all 4 wheels with a short little red line behind all 4 wheels then 1 long green line that seems to only be above the front wheels. Nothing is flashing on the screen but like I say only the one green line.

Strange the air system is only a 2 way system, Which means the 2 front wheels are connected via the same valve and the same with the 2 rears. If one sensor goes the rear then both sides will be affected as the system cant raise or lower one corner without doing the same to the other side.

I'd suspect that one rear sensor is away which is affecting the other side and causing the fronts to appear red , or of course it would be a wiring fault which is less common on the rrs. Best bet is to get it into a dealer and get it plugged in to find out which one is faulty.

If your driving it take it easy as it will be unbalanced slightly and a bit bouncy if the rear is in off road mode.

Ps

I did have an issue with one of my rrs where the height sensor showed a fault. It's eventually cleared itself after I put it up and down a few times and switched the engine of and one a few times.
