Mine has an oversized rectangular version. Only very slightly wider but looks much better than standard
never really been keen on the Rover shape

6 inch deep oblong plate is the best. The shaped one is a bit Rover 75 as has been mentioned earlier.

The oblongs look wrong and look like you were too tight to buy the shaped ones, which are the proper plates for the rear.
