Covered in Austrian snow :)

I am currently enjoying wonderful Kitzbuhel, Austria and the mountains it has to offer for skiing. It has been snowing pretty hard for the last 2 days and it is the first time I get to use my RRS in proper snow/winter conditions.
The snow mode is indeed useful and helps quite a bit, not to mention the 4x4 traction control which kicks in as soon as too much power is given (deliberately Mr. Green ).
Also, I noticed the engine sounds a bit different sometimes, a bit louder even when idle - but that is probably due to the FBH heater.
The heated seats is some kind of technology from the future Laughing

All in all - the RRS is a true guilty pleasure Mr. Green

P.S. They have quite a few Land Rovers here: FFRR, Disco, RRS, Defender, all with steering wheels on the LHS! Quite unusual to see. But overall, austrians know what to drive Thumbs Up

Here is my mighty beast: along with other RRS.

Well, right now I am in Kitzbuhel (Austria) - wonderful place and mountains, which offer a lot for intermediate and advanced skiers, but there are a lot of blue tracks too, so beginner finds a lot of space to ski as well.

There are plenty of places you can go skiing in Europe - Italy, Switzerland, Austria, France are the main destinations. If you do not know which resorts you want to go to, just google the best ski resorts in the country of your choice. For example, next time I am going probably to St. Anton (Austria).

If you need some help, let me know, I'll do my best. Vadim A.

x5PEA,

For excellent skiing, i went often to Les Porte du Soleil.
Europe´s biggest interconnected area for skiing.
Connects France and Swiss from an altitude of 2500 m with 650 km of slopes!
You can ski for days without taking the same slope.

Try Chatel and Avoriaz for example. Thumbs Up

I Like the Three Valleys .. Probably Meribel is my favourite .... Courcheval is stunning but very expensive.

Chamonix is a great town and the ski-ing is fantasic but you need to be really on it to get the most out of it. 2011 MY- RRS HSE - Zermatt -Ebony-Piano .... its a monochrome world

2006- BMW Z4M Roadster -Titanium Silver

Morzine, Avoriaz, chatel, Chamonix, Meribel

Liked them all, but would say Morzine or Meribel was my favourite, Chamonix was good nightlife but too many buses between hotel and slopes for my liking

Rather depends on what mode of transport you are taking I'd have thought?

Looks like people have already advised you on the ski resorts. I'm noting these down for myself too! Very Happy I always google ski resorts myself, then read reviews look at photos/youtube videos and then decide which one I want to go to. Vadim A.
