LR Warranty ... Is everything a "wearing Part"

Hi all.

I'm a bit miffed with Land Rover at the moment.

I've got a 2009 Range Rover Sport (22000 miles on the clock) with a "loose parking brake" Land Rover are telling me that it is a wearing part and i will be charged for labor but not parts ... Is it me or is that wrong?

Any advice much appreciated.

I don't know if it is cable operated but I would guess that stretch of the handbrake cable is wear and tear although I don't think I would be happy with LR's response if my car was only 2 years old Shocked Proud owner of a 2008 TDV8 HSE.....and an Audi A3 2.0T DSG Cab and a Porsche 911 Turbo (Mercedes W208 320 CLK and Mercedes W124 E220 Estate now gone)

Surely shoes shouldn't wear unless not correctly fitted or applied when moving. Confused

Wouldn't happen to be Armstrong Massey would it Rolling Eyes

I used them for years but voted with my feet after clutch master issue on my FL1 - got job done by Stratstone, Hull with a 50% contribution and I was a few months out of warranty Evil or Very Mad
