United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black
rear wheel bearing gone

Hi,
Was having a bit of fun in the snow until going sideways into a kerb.
The result is a dented Overfinch alloy and a noise from the rear wheel bearing.
Is the rear wheel bearing much of a job to change?

Cheers!

You'll have to remove parking brake shoes, discs, calipers. Take off the knuckle and then get a garage to press out the old bearing & press in the new one in, unless you've got the kit to do such.

I have seen the front hubs for sale as a complete unit, but the rears seem to be harder to find.
If I could buy the rear complete I would change that myself.
