Hi All.

Just received email that has been confirmed by Microsoft about a virus that destroys your hard drive,

DO NOT open any message with an attachment called: Invitation FACEBOOK,


It is the worst virus announced by CNN. A new virus has been
discovered recently that has been classified by Microsoft as the most destructive
virus ever.
It is a Trojan Horse that asks you to install an adobe flash plug-in. Once you install it, it's all over. And there
is no repair yet for this kind of virus. This virus simply destroys the Zero Sector of the Hard Disc, where the vital information of their function
is saved.

Hope nobody receives it but thought you all should be aware.

I'm betting that'll be a load of rubbish then. All the standard hallmarks of a spam "virus email". Confirmed by big company (usually Microsoft - never a big anti-virus company strangely because most people would struggle to name those) and which will absolutely kill your hard drive. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

unless you know who is sending and it looks like something you would be expecting, delete it..... full stop.

get some good av software, and a decent email provider, and with luck you should not grt caught out,nthese emails rely on curiosity and greed...

Why would you get an email with the message and a virus if the whole tale is a hoax ? MY2011 HSE Santorini/Ivory/Piano Black/Privacy Glass/TV .Sadly gone.

Ive recently noticed that when i get a e-mail from martin informing me of a reply to one of the topic's i have replied to, there is no direct link to the topic as before, but there is an attachment link that says something like no name for at....
Whats this all about, i havn't clicked on the attachment because it looks dodgy, anyone else get this? Has martin changed the way he sends you a e-mail notification, the e-mail has all the hallmarks of martins previous mails but not the direct link to the topic Has martin got a virus

In short, i think is says orange have no control of this virus anyone speak french and can translate

"Orange informs you that this e-mail has been controlled by the anti-virus mail. No known virus to this day by our services has not been detected" RRS gone
