I don't think you will see as high a rise in used prices this winter. A combination of a milder winter compared to last year (south of Scotland) and the economic crisis, of which much of the fallout has yet to be realised (more job cuts and higher bills coming) but will start to hit early next year and accelerate post the March budget. Many of the people that will be hit next year will be typical RRS buyers such as entrepreneurs and small business owners.

If you look at the classifieds, many cars (other than some of the sub £20k cars) are not selling and the call made by some dealers to stock pile will come back to bite them in late February.

Obviously nothing is certain but this what my personal crystal ball is saying. Proud owner of a 2008 TDV8 HSE.....and an Audi A3 2.0T DSG Cab and a Porsche 911 Turbo (Mercedes W208 320 CLK and Mercedes W124 E220 Estate now gone)
