Transfer Box - is this right ?

Hi, just wondering if the low ratio gears should be routinely engaged from time to time to activate the Transfer Box if the car is rarely used off road ?

If so, how often should this be done ?

Appreciate any advice. Thanks. Carl

England

Funny, I was thinking about this at the weekend and popped it into the low range and covered about 100 yds, then stopped and popped it back into high range.
Makes sense to do this routinely I suppose just so as to keep it all ship shape. Smile ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i
