2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Fuji White

2014 Tailgate Trim

Hi,

Just wondered if anyone has removed/replaced the tailgate trim on a L494 shape RRS ? I have scoured the web for instructions but can't find anything.

I tried removing the panel inside the boot to see if there were any fixings in here. I could see 2 clips at either end but nothing obvious in the centre. It looks like it might just pop off from the outside but I wasn't brave enough to give this a go in case I snapped it.

Any tips much appreciated.

Neil,

Did you have any luck with the tailgate trim? I was thinking of trying to change mine but not confident with no advice upfront for fear of damage.

Hi Martin,

It's dead simple, it just pulls off from the outside with your bare hands. No tools or strip down required.

Start at one end, pop out the first fixing, move to the other end, then work back and forth alternately until you meet in the middle. The new one just pushes on.
