Phone Bluetooth

Could someone help me with my Bluetooth Phonebook please.

It all works except l can't get it to display my phone book - specifically names.

For example, if somebody calls me in the car it would come up with their number, but not 'Simon' (for example) so l wouldn't know who was calling.

All of my contacts are saved to the sim card on my phone (Nokia C5-00) and not the phone itself. l'm not sure if that has anything to do with it? l have read somewhere on the RRSport forum something about having to get a LR dealer to download some software but l can't find it now.

Cheers,

CycleSi

07/57 was a crossover year, it soiunds like you need to have your BT module updated.

Are your 'contacts' saved to the sim card or the phone itself?

Phone Contacts (Haven't saved to SIM for years....)

I have MY07 (albeit a D3, but same unit) I needed the update, Linko on here has an 07 TdV8, also needed the update. I've also known people with 57 need the update and some that didn't. As I say, was a switch year with different software levels in the modules.

Very easy to change over in a RRS. Thumbs Up Bodsys Brake Bible

I think I've sorted it.

By copying my contacts to the phone (as well as them still being on the SIM card) they have now appeared in the phone book in the car.

Excellent - thanks for all your help.
