Drivers Window Wont Fully Close.

Hello all, I noticed lots of wind noise from the drivers window. The seal at the top corner of the A pillar had come away where it angles down. I glued it back with Sikaflex adhesive but the wind noise persisted. On closer inspection, the window is stopping short by about 10mm (looks closed from inside but obviously shy when looked at from the outside).
I'm thinking maybe someone has tried to break in - damaging the seal and affecting window operation too. Is there an easy way to adjust the "closed position" - a switch? Or does it cut out when the current increases?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Cheers,
Tony.

There might be something stuck in the window chanel at the top which is stopping the window from closing fully..
