Replacing rear registration plate

Got a new plate and the back one is stuck on - any idea best way to get off (Rangie garage is charging £55 to do)

A good hairdryer or heat gun. Gently heat the plate and try to blow warm behind it from the top and carefully pull it forwards and eventually it will fall away as the glue softens. Thumbs Up

Or get some Dental Floss long enough to get behind number plate, then wrap ends round two sticks and use like a Cheese cutter. Thumbs Up 2006 S/C Bonatti Grey, OEM Steps, LAND ROVFR Mud Flaps, Soft/Smooth steering wheel, 2010/11 HST Wheels.

Only really need that if 'de-badging' or removing lettering. It is very good my mate swears by it. Any residue left by the number plate should be covered by the new plate. Thumbs Up
