Colour coding

We have a Santorini Black 2010 model RRS and I like the idea of colour coding the grey plastic surround on the front grille and on the side air vents on both wings.
Has anyone done this to their own instead of buying new bits and does the mesh part of the grille comes apart from the plastic?

The 2 side vents when removed will be able to be split apart, you will need to carefully separate them where they are plastic welded they can be glued back together using araldite once the outer part has been painted.
The front grill is a little more complex in its construction and therefore it is better just to carefully mask around.

Done this a couple of times so far on a few different cars
let me know if you need any more info
Colour coding is a must IMHO

Hi, I managed to pick up a year old front grille that had been painted by Landrover for a new customers car. Put it on the car yesterday and it makes a 200% improvement, looks superb IMHO Thumbs Up

I have part ex'd my side vents to a specialist and when i receive the painted new ones, i will send mine off in return and should have them fitted in a couple of weeks.

It will really set the car off and I will post some pics when it's completed. I know it's about personal taste but I took before and after full frontal shots and everyone that sees them says how much better it looks.
