Learn how to machine polish but learn correctly. Fillers only mask the problem. Get one good detail done and then try to maintain it. Job done |

Good advice NickM; having very recently bought another RRS (one year old ) I was horrified to see the state of the paintwork under a spotlight. It looked like it had been cleaned with a brillo pad

Be very careful with a pressure washer, Hold it too close to paintwork and you will damage it. When you get your car back as it was, give it a auto guard coating of paint seal. Then only use plenty of clean water when you wash the car, and leather it after. I did this on my Freelander2 Santori black. It looked like new when i sold it 3years 7months later.I have used this method many times with success. itisme |

Harry, lots of people will tell you never ever use a leather on your car, one of the biggest no no's....one of the single biggest causes of swirling, as the leather very easily retains the fine grit....much better with a fresh clean drying towel.....washed each time after use |

Hi NickM, Never had any swirling on any of my cars. Maybe because i have always used it on a perfectly clean car, and kept the leather clean as well. When i pass my cars on they look as good as when they were new. itisme |
