Google two bucket washing that will help reduce grit inflicting swirls

You have a couple of options, machine polishing that will correct th paintwork or elbow greased hand polished using something PoorBoys black hole glaze or auto glym super resin, these have filler to fill the swirls so the eye doesn't see them as much

I'm sure others will be along to give option too Thumbs Up

Learn how to machine polish but learn correctly. Fillers only mask the problem. Get one good detail done and then try to maintain it. Job done

Good advice NickM; having very recently bought another RRS (one year old ) I was horrified to see the state of the paintwork under a spotlight. It looked like it had been cleaned with a brillo pad Shocked

I have just got the car back from the detailer and the difference is incredible.
I will try to upload some before and after shots to show what can be achieved. I will only clean it with the proper kit and cleaning methods from now on.

Thanks Justin for all your hard work (three days of it!) Thumbs Up

Be very careful with a pressure washer, Hold it too close to paintwork and you will damage it. When you get your car back as it was, give it a auto guard coating of paint seal. Then only use plenty of clean water when you wash the car, and leather it after. I did this on my Freelander2 Santori black. It looked like new when i sold it 3years 7months later.I have used this method many times with success. itisme

Harry, lots of people will tell you never ever use a leather on your car, one of the biggest no no's....one of the single biggest causes of swirling, as the leather very easily retains the fine grit....much better with a fresh clean drying towel.....washed each time after use

Hi NickM, Never had any swirling on any of my cars. Maybe because i have always used it on a perfectly clean car, and kept the leather clean as well. When i pass my cars on they look as good as when they were new. itisme
