iphone 4 - bluetooth RRS MY05 forgets my phone each time

I have RRS MY05 Supercharged.

I can pair my iphone 4 just fine BUT, it needs to be paired each time I switch the car on (entering the bluetooth code)

Is this normal?

I read in the owner's manual that the RRS can remember up to 8 devices, but it doesn't tell you how to erase a device.

Any help? Range Rover Sport SVR - Santorini Black

I assume you enter the code 2121? In which case it needs a software update for it to work properly. The software update will also give you the Contacts list on your radio, so you can select from that.

Wiggs has a system in pleace to swap them out with an updated module for £60. see here....

There is a link in the first page.

For RRS it is very simple, remove the rear side hatch in the boot (drivers side) and you will be able to see the unit. Undo the torx bolt (T20 I think) unplug the connectors and plug the new one in. Simples....

Works with all Iphones including latest 4s.

Thanks Ian,

Yes, entering the 2121, works fine. It's just that I need to do it every time I go out in the car, I'll give Wiggs a shout and get the new module.

Also, you wouldn't know anything about

a) How to add a TV module to and RRS that already has the DVD + RSE installed? I wonder if the car already has a TV aerial in the roof blade.

b) how to get AV1/AV2 to display on the front screen? Range Rover Sport SVR - Santorini Black

Wiggs'd be able to provide some guidance on those. Thumbs Up Bodsys Brake Bible
